Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women?

Join us in support of the American Heart Association's campaign to improve women's heart health by wearing RED today to increase awareness!

During the month of February consider talking to your provider about these heart happy recommendations:

- Eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean unprocessed meats, limited added sugars and is low in sodium!

- Take action to live free from tobacco/nicotine products! Ask for help with a plan to quit smoking, va**ng, etc.

- Manage chronic health conditions. Is your blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes at goal? What would it take to get you there?

- Aim for about 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week. Try taking a 30 minute walk just 5 days per week!

- Get caught up with the latest CPR recommendations so YOU know how to help during an emergency.

A Warming Station will be open at First Baptist Church to provide a safe, warm place during the cold weather.

311 Nash Street North

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

FREE Transportation (City of Wilson):
RIDE trips to and from the warming station are free—no code needed.
