Every Friday: noon to 4:30 PM Chakra Healing/Balancing with Darlene. Come in and refresh yourself. Balancing with tuning forks, crystals, and/or Reiki energy are used to help clear and balance the energy of the 7 main chakras. A thirty-minute session is $50.00. Also available is a chakra oracle reading session that can focus on a specific chakra. Approximately 10 minutes for $10.00 per Oracle card. Darlene is a Reiki master/teacher with a chakra certification and 30 years of experience in healing energy. In this course we will teach you the basics to learn and incorporate in your life any and all herbs of your choosing. We will start with the basics and introduce you to the plants themselves, and show you many ways to work with them on a daily basis. This will be the first in a path to healthy herbal living and hopefully a lifetime of growth and happiness with herbals.

Beltane/May Day
May Day has been celebrated form ancient times as a spring festival all over the world.
Activities to do on May Day
Make a May Basket and fill it with flowers and give it to someone. Make a pressed flower card.
Go into the woods and get in tuned with Mother Nature. Sit in a pile of flowers.
Make a garland of flowers to wear in your hair. Dress up in bright flowery clothes or wear green.
Make a Jack-in-the-bush. (A pyramid shape of greenery, crowned in flowers representing the Jack–in-the-Green, or the Greenman.)
Dance around the maypole. Wash your face with the morning dew.
Plant a tree in the yard of your love one. Tie bells to your shoes to protect yourself from mischief fairy folk.
Bake sweet cakes and place them in your thyme garden to invite fairy folk. Make candied violets.

blackened mahi-mahi fish taco
It’s summer (well almost)! This means it’s time to break out the grill! This month’s recipe is perfect for a pool party or backyard get together. Seafood lovers, unite, because this month, we’re featuring a blackened mahi-mahi fish taco.
You’ll Need: * 4 Mahi-Mahi Filets
* Blackening Seasoning of Your Choice (Visit Truely Unique to pick up a delicious blend)
* ½ Small Cabbage (red or green)
* ½ Red Onion
* 1 Jalapeno (omit if you don’t like them)
* Salt and Pepper to Taste
* Juice of ½ Lime (more if you like the citrus)
* 1 Small Bunch Chopped Cilantro (omit if you have the soap gene)
* Drizzle of Olive Oil
* ½ Cup Mayo
* ¼ Cup Sour Cream
* 1 TBSP Chipotle Sauce or Other Hot Sauce of Your Choice
* Small Flour or Corn Tortillas
To Make: * Rinse and pat dry the thawed fish filets and rub them with the blackening seasoning – set aside
* Mix the cabbage, onion, jalapeno, salt, pepper, lime juice, cilantro (if using), and olive oil together – set aside and let rest
* In a separate bowl, mix together the mayo, sour cream, and hot sauce
* Preheat the grill to a medium-high heat
* Grill the fish for 3-4 minutes per side
* Shred in a bowl with forks
* In a tortilla shell (warmed if you’d like) add some of the fish and cabbage mixture and top with the chipotle/mayo sauce. Garnish with a few cilantro leaves and serve with a wedge of lime.
*Side note for this one – you can substitute for any fish or shrimp if you prefer*
