We finished up our week with a camping adventure! We enjoyed pigs in a blanket and s’mores while singing campfire songs! 🏕️

The theme for National Assisted Living Week this year is Ageless Adventure and boy did we have an adventure today! Residents traveled the world while sampling food, listening to music, and learning about several countries! Each resident was able to get their passport stamped as they visited each country!

We stated our morning with tea in England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿☕️
Then we traveled to Germany and celebrated Oktoberfest a little early! 🇩🇪🍺🥨
In China, we enjoyed fried rice and egg rolls and tried to use chopsticks! 🇨🇳🥡🥢
We enjoyed a special happy hour in Mexico with margaritas! 🇲🇽🌮
Finishing off the day, we stopped in Italy for gelato! 🇮🇹🍦

We can’t wait for the opportunity to travel to more countries!

Thank you to all our families and friends that joined the Spring Arbor Wild West for a Hoe Down! We enjoyed Parker’s Barbecue and music with the Kangaroo Gang! We can’t wait for our next family night! 🤠🌾🐎

We had so much fun celebrating Grandparents Day with an Ice Cream Party! It was so nice to have friends and family join in on the fun! We can’t wait for the rest of National Assisted Living Week to get started! 🍦

Day 5 Olympic Week and our final day was a chair volleyball competition—residents vs. activity director! Our residents took home the gold! 🏐🥇
