Williams Day Camp is back with Wilson Parks & Recreation, offering a fun-filled summer experience for kids ages 5–11.

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and includes a variety of engaging activities both indoors and outdoors. Participants will enjoy games, field trips, nature exploration, swimming, and time in the parks, all designed to keep kids active and learning throughout the summer.

Session Dates:
June 15–19
June 22–26
July 20–24
July 27–31
August 3–7
August 10–14

Cost per session:
$80 for City Residents
$120 for Non-Residents

Join us for the She Hoops Basketball Clinic led by instructor Rosalyn "Roc" Canady.

This program is designed for young athletes to develop their skills on the court at the Reid St Community Center.

We are SO excited to finally announce that the Hope Program will be hosting TWO summer camps this year! ☀️

Our goal is to serve even more children with special needs and support their families. This has been over a year in the making, and seeing it come to life is all because of God making the way for it.

At the Wilson Warbirds game on Sunday, April 19, 2026, our very own R.M. threw out the ceremonial first pitch! ⚾️🌟 This special moment was part of a major community fundraiser organized by Transitioning Together.us, a Wilson-based 501c3 nonprofit that creates inclusive social opportunities for adults with special needs.

The game took place during the inaugural homestand at the new Wilson Ballpark (also known as the Wilson Sports and Entertainment Park) in downtown Wilson.

The game served as a fundraiser where a portion of each ticket sold through the organization's link directly supported local inclusion programs.

The new $76 million stadium recently opened its doors on April 14, 2026, marking the return of affiliated professional baseball to downtown Wilson.

Transitioning Together was recently recognized for its work, winning the "Best New Initiative" category at the City of Wilson's 55th Human Relations Awards.

The Warbirds faced the Hill City Howlers with a 1:05 PM first pitch. The Wilson Warbirds won the game against the Hill City Howlers with a final score of 5–3. 🤩
