🌟 Now Recruiting for the Minority Diabetes Prevention Program!

Enrollment is now open for the Minority Diabetes Prevention Program, a year-long lifestyle change program that helps minority adults with prediabetes reduce their risk for Type 2 diabetes.

Our most recent cohort completed the program in February 2026, and we are now welcoming participants for the next class. During this program, participants work together and receive support through:

✔ Healthy eating tips
✔ Physical activity support
✔ Incentives and healthy snacks
✔ Group encouragement and accountability

Only 12 spots are available for those who qualify.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the health department will be closed Monday, January 19, 2026. We will be open with normal hours and services Tuesday, January 20.
