At 11:43am today, Wilson VFD received a report of a house fire on a county road. By the time responders arrived, we were able to save some of the property next to the house, the barn, and controlling the burn to prevent grassfires. Special thanks to Lynn County for bringing out your water truck to help with fighting this unfortunate event. No citizens were harmed from the fire.
