Please join us in welcoming our new RC3 Coordinator, Kimberly Redance! Today was her first day, and we are so excited for you all to meet her! Come by this Thursday for our Full Coalition Meeting at the Health Department, or stop by RC3 any time we're open to say hi!!👋

Learn more about Kimberly below!⬇
My name is Kimberly Redance, and I recently stepped into the RC3 Coordinator position with the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. Serving individuals in recovery and supporting the community is very personal to me because of my own journey of overcoming addiction. Organizations like Hope Alliance played an important role in my life by helping me find treatment when I needed it most, and that experience gave me a deep appreciation for the power of community support. Through my work as a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist and my involvement in outreach, I have developed a strong passion for helping others find hope, connection, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives. I also enjoy bringing creativity into the work I do by finding new ways to engage the community and build meaningful programs that inspire and support people in recovery. This is an opportunity I truly value because it allows me to combine my personal experience, professional training, and creativity to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I am thankful for the opportunity to work alongside such a wonderful team at WCSPC.

🌿 Recovery isn’t one path — it’s many.
Every journey is unique, and every step forward matters.
At PAWSS, we want our community to know that support comes in many forms — counseling, peer support, wellness practices, housing assistance, and so much more. No matter where someone is starting from, there is a pathway that fits their needs, their pace, and their story.
If you or someone you love is seeking help, hope, or guidance, this flyer highlights the many treatment options available. You don’t have to walk this road alone — we’re here to support healing, connection, and change.
💛 Your journey is valid. Your recovery is possible. Your community is here.

🥕 Mobile Food Market Coming to Wilson! 🛒

Healthy Eating and Active Living is a top priority for the Healthcare Foundation of Wilson. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Nutrition Month than by announcing an exciting new partnership focused on bringing healthy and nutritious options to our community.

Beginning April 14, the Healthcare Foundation of Wilson is teaming up with Ripe for Revival, a North Carolina nonprofit dedicated to ending food insecurity, to bring Wilson its very own Mobile Food Market.

What is it and how does it work?

Ripe for Revival’s Mobile Food Market offers a low-cost way to purchase fresh, local produce, dairy, and protein. The mobile grocery store operates on a pay-what-you-can / pay-it-forward model, helping make healthy food more accessible to everyone.

📅 The Mobile Market will be set up twice a month on Tuesdays
⏰ 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

We can’t wait to share more details—including the full list of dates for the rest of the year—so stay tuned!
