While it’s still safe and effective once thawed, every second matters during an opioid overdose.

Carry naloxone in your purse or bag instead of leaving it in your car until the weather warms up.

The WCSPC would like to thank the Wilson Education Partnership for bringing the Career Health Connections students to RC3!

We were able to talk to them about substance misuse, prevention, treatment, and recovery. And also train them on how to use Naloxone to reverse an opioid overdose! We appreciate the opportunity to talk to these students! Thanks again Wilson Education Partnership!!

Emergency shelter in Goldsboro for tonight

The ❄️Souper 112 Shelter❄️ will open tonight at 6:00 pm. Supper and breakfast will be provided.
The Community Soup Kitchen operates Monday through Saturday, including holidays, serving lunch from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Do you have any unused or unneeded medications? If so, did you know that Wilson County has several permanent medication dropbox locations where you can safely dispose of any medications?

The 6 locations are:

-Walmart Neighborhood Market Pharmacy, 2700 Ward Blvd, Wilson, NC

If transportation/travel or other issues make accessing these permanent locations difficult or impossible, the WCSPC can provide you with an in-home option, the Deterra in-home disposal kits! These kits can be used by simply adding hot water to the resealable pouch, waiting 30 seconds, and then safely disposing the sealed container in your trashcan!
