I have unfortunate news. Ryan passed away on Sunday. The boys and I decided to take a road trip down the coast to California. It was nice to get away.

I am back at the Wilsonville office! I know some of you will be happy about that! I have limited hours Monday-Wednesday. I can only give 3 massages A day because I need to run home between each to make sure the man of the house is doing well. Because of my limited time, I won’t be able to take insurance or do packages.
This was an incredibly hard decision because I was making decent money. I’m confident you will fill my schedule so I can continue to succeed and so I can continue to help soothe your muscles and relax your souls.
I won’t be opening my schedule up, so message me if you want to schedule.

I have made the really hard decision to close my schedule at the Wilsonville office for the time being.
My family is struggling with me working Sundays. Ryan isn’t able to be alone long periods with the kids without support. 3 year olds are a lot! Add in a 5 year old and you’ve got crazy town. 😅
While Ryan is doing really well, I just don’t feel comfortable not having weekends to make memories and be in each others company with everything we’re going through.
I’ve been pushing through Sundays because I love you guys so much! It’s starting to affect me though. I’ve always said that I will not give massage when I’m feeling so negative. I would never want my negativity to affect the mood of another, especially when I’m giving the massage. Im supposed to be giving you all the good, healing energy. Not yucky negativity.
I have recommendations on others to see. There’s even a wonderful lady in my building so you wouldn’t have to travel far.
This breaks my heart and Im so sorry.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10-5

At this time I have blocked off my Sundays. Ryan will be having surgery to remove his leg on 9/24 and I’m struggling to find someone who can consistently watch our boys.

If you’re already on the schedule, I will work hard to accommodate but might need to move you around to make the schedule work a little better with when I can find a sitter.

I also have an office in Tualatin that I’m at on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-5. The phone number there is 503-486-5199. So easy to call and schedule. I’m only booked out until the week of the 20th.

Ryan will likely be unable to care for our kids alone at least through the end of the year. So I will reassess my schedule when we get closer to the end of the year. I know this makes it hard for some people to get into my schedule so please understand that this breaks my heart, too! I have some good referrals who give great massages!

Thank you for your continued support, well wishes, prayers, hugs(only if you want water works from me😅) etc. You all mean the world to me and during this trying time, I’m so blessed to have such wonderful clients.

Friends and family-
I started a new GoFundMe for Ryan Sample because circumstances have changed. Ryan will be getting a leg amputation in August. He has started having symptoms more than just a tumor attached to his leg. He is tired, sleeping more, having more trouble getting around and ready to make some tough decisions. This all is very hard for him to admit and as the breadwinner of the family, it will be pretty hard on our family to have him out of work. Luckily he has some short term disability. We will need help with daycare on Mondays(asap) and Sundays in August after his surgery so that I can continue working. Currently we don’t have a Monday sitter and if I cannot work on Mondays then it will be detrimental to our income. So if anyone has an idea on someone to watch the little ones that day, I would be forever grateful.
All of this comes with a lot of stress and honestly, I’m not managing well. I’m very forgetful and really just having a hard time forming thoughts and speaking. So lots of prayers for us as we navigate these hard times. At the end of this, life will be better. I believe his quality of life will improve even though right now it seems so daunting. If you can donate even a little, we would be so thankful. After being in a situation like this, I will not hesitate to donate what I can to another family in need. It’s a hit to the ego to have to ask for help, but it really needed and so very much appreciated.

I will be taking Saturdays off after March for now. My partner is doing a treatment for his cancer and won’t be able to be with our kids for too long alone, just in case the treatment makes him feel sick. Thank you for understanding. I will be raising my 90 minute price to $120 starting March 1st. It’s a $7.50 discount. It’s still well below the average price for the area.

I like to provide a discount to 90 minute massages because I don’t have to change over sheets and clean at the hour mark. Plus 90 minute massages are my fav!

I have been given an incredible opportunity and I decided to take it. I will be adding Monday and Tuesday with my already scheduled Thursday at Performance and Spine Chiropractic in Tualatin. I’m still at my office in Wilsonville on the weekends.

What an incredible year it’s been. Hard with a lot of life stuff thrown mine and my family’s way, but my business has grown so much!!

With all the growth, I’ve decided to get a better scheduling app that has more capabilities, such as note taking, electronic forms etc.

I’m hoping to have it up and running January 1st!

Hi my amazing massage family! 💕

In lieu of tips the next couple months, I would love for you to donate a small amount(if you’re able- tips are never required) to my husbands Go Fund Me.

To help fund this, I have also opened up my Tuesday schedule and have some corporate events in the works. If you want to talk about an event- let me know.

Here’s an update for friends and family that have donated. We appreciate each and every one of you. Ryan has decided that he wants to work with the naturopaths he has for now and then will consider what his cancer doctors have treatment wise(which isn’t much for his type of cancer, unfortunately and one of the biggest reasons he sought out a naturopath who helps to treat cancer) the treatment he wants to do costs $4000 every 6 months. We have a large family and with the rising costs of everything, this makes coming up with $4000 a little on the difficult side. I know I haven’t been very forthcoming with information about him but with the negativity we’ve received for the way he wants to handle his cancer, it just gets to be a little much so we’ve been keeping a lot to ourselves about it. We’d love to answer anyones questions but ask that things stay respectful. It’s taken a lot of time, tears and stress to get to this point and these decisions aren’t taken lightly.
