The "perfect" posture is your next posture. Research confirms that prolonged static loading: even in the most expensive office chair: leads to tissue creep and joint stiffness (McGill et al., 2006). Your body was designed to crave movement, not to be a statue.
The fix isn't a new desk setup. It’s movement frequency.
- Micro-breaks: Every 30 minutes, stand up for 60 seconds.
- Variable loading: Switch between sitting and standing every hour.
- Active seated stretches: Rotate your spine and open your chest while on a call.
