It doesn't matter whether we have any previous experience or not, in Bela's watercolor class we are Growing Together. Some of our painters today have had a career of painting, while others just started. No matter what, we are lucky to have Bela, with the help of his daughter Cynthia, teaching anyone who would like to join this class and learn the fine art of watercolors.

Who doesn't love a party with a delicious meal, lots of friends and family to spend an evening with, and good music? It was quite an evening at our friends and family dinner this month, and a great time was had by all!

Our theme for our September Friends and Family dinner was Mexican fare, and the dining staff outdid themselves with delicious taco salad, Mexican street corn salad, empanadas, tacos, chicken with peppers and onion, black beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, and a whole lot more! We topped it off with cinnamon and sugar churros for dessert. With music by Mike Rinaldi, there was dancing, laughter, lots of great conversations, and a wonderful chance for everyone to get together.

Our Beading Club is doing bracelet making! We have added more friends to our group, and today they made lots of beautiful bracelets to add to our collection to sell, as well as a few to keep and give away. Anna started a gorgeous pearl bracelet, and Anne helped her finish it! This is such a wonderful, creative craft.
