The Lions Club of Ridgefield earlier this week presented a check for $2500 to Ridgefield Social Services.

The programs that the Department of Social Services provide for Ridgefield residents include maintaining programs that help residents meet their basic needs for shelter, heat, utilities, clothing, food, medical needs, transportation, recreation, and more!

Bring your boxes of old papers, bills, receipts, bank statements, medical records, checks, and tax forms to be securely shredded while you watch! 🔒🧾

🚫 No binders, binder clips, spiral notebooks, or Pendaflex folders please!

👓♻️ Recycle your old eyeglasses and hearing aids too!

All proceeds support senior citizens, student scholarships, and local community projects.

What a terrific day at SummerFest! You could not ask for a better day as the weather was perfect. There were so many friends we saw who stopped by as well as people who were happy to learn more about what The Ridgefield Lions Club does for the community!

Thank you to the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce and we promise that next year we will have even MORE balloons!

The Ridgefield Lions Club Michael J. Liberta Golf Tournament Fundraiser was a resounding success! Thank you to everyone that supported us and all the golfers that came out and made the tournament truly special! A special thank you goes out to The Ridgefield Golf Course for running a smooth tournament and O'Deens for keeping everyone well fed! See you all next year!
