We served so many families today! It was a blessing, and an example of the generosity of the Wimberley community. Literally thousands of diapers, hundreds of pieces of baby clothing, wipes, bottles, strollers, car seats, bassinets, baby carriers, and more, went to families in need.

Thanks also the lovely folks at , Communicare, and St Vincent de Paul for coming out to attend the event.
Here’s to making a difference, one family at a time.

Yes, you heard that right. Diapers aren’t covered by Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Neither are menstrual products. One reason why diaper drives and diaper banks are so important. If you ever want to know what a new mom needs, it’s most likely diapers.
Cloth diapers are a great alternative, but it requires regular access to a laundry machine and a family/guardian commitment that may not be possible.
Our Community Baby Shower is this Sunday, April 28th, from 2-5p. We are still taking donations for diapers and wipes and we will be making one last shopping run on Sunday morning! Www.hcwhc.org/donate or link in bio. 👆
