IP Food Hack: Dill Pickle Zucchini Sticks
If you love Ideal Protein’s Dill Pickle Zippers, then you’re going to love these dill pickle zucchini sticks!
Simply cut up a zucchini into sticks and crush a packet of Ideal Protein Dill Pickle Zippers (CA: Dill Pickle Flavoured Zippers). Gently dip the zucchini sticks into egg and then into the crushed up Zippers. Cook in an air fryer or oven for 10mins at 350°F.
Serve and enjoy!
IP Food Hack: Chili Rutabaga Fries
This week’s IP Food Hack may sound like something you’d get at a fast food chain, but we assure you, it’s Phase 1 friendly!
Directions:
1. Cut a rutabaga into 2 cups of fries and then season with any spices, drizzle 1-2 tsp of select oil, and mix well.
2. Place fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake in a 400°F oven until they are golden and crispy.
3. Meanwhile, gently heat up some Ideal Protein Vegetable Chili Mix as per packet instructions.
4. When fries are ready, pour chili over them and garnish with some chopped green onions. Enjoy!
IP Food Hack: Broccoli & Cheese Bread!
Grab that Ideal Protein Broccoli Cheese Soup Mix to make delicious Broccoli Cheese Bread!
1. In a bowl, mix together Broccoli Cheese soup mix, 2 egg whites, 1tsp select oil, ¼ tsp baking powder, and a pinch of Ideal Salt.
2. Coat a bread pan gently with non-stick spray and pour batter into pan.
3. Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes and then flip and cook for another 8 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Gently warm some Ideal Protein Ready Serve Vanilla Drink then froth with a milk frother. Pour over a shot of espresso and enjoy!
IP Food Hack: IP Chicken Fingers
Here’s an Ideal Protein spin on a fast food classic: chicken fingers!
Ingredients:
4 oz. serving chicken breast, sliced into strips
1 egg
1 packet of your favorite Dorados or Crisps, crushed finely
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix egg in a bowl and pour crushed Dorados or Crisps on a separate plate.
3. Dip chicken strips in egg and then into the crushed Dorados or Crisps. Shake off any extra coating.
4. Place strips onto the baking sheet and bake for 15-20mins. Enjoy!
IP Food Hack: IP Pasta Salad
This week’s IP Food Hack comes from CEM Sara Mulero!
Ingredients:
1 packet IP Rotini Pasta
¾ cup cucumber, chopped
¾ cup bell peppers, chopped
½ cup tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp capers
2 tbsp IP Italian Herb Dressing
Directions:
1. Prepare Rotini as per packet instructions
2. Place Rotini in a large bowl and add the rest of your ingredients. Mix well.
3. Place in the fridge for 20 mins to get it chilled. Serve and enjoy!
IP Food Hack: Rhubarb Frozen Yogurt Bars
If you like to start your day with Ideal Protein’s Berry Breakfast Smoothie Mix, then you’ll love these Rhubarb Frozen Yogurt Bars.
Ingredients:
1 packet Berry Breakfast Smoothie Mix
½ cup fresh or frozen rhubarb, chopped (ensure this counts towards your Select Vegetables daily total).
1 tbsp Ideal Protein Maple Flavored Syrup (CA: Maple Flavoured Syrup )
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine rhubarb and 1-2 tbsp of water. Gently simmer until rhubarb is soft and liquid evaporates. If liquid evaporates too quickly, add more water.
2. Stir in Maple Flavored Syrup and allow rhubarb to cool down.
3. Prepare Berry Breakfast Smoothie Mix per packet instructions.
4. Gently stir in rhubarb mixture with Smoothie.
5. Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze and enjoy!
IP Food Hack: Chips and Salsa
Get your hands on a few tomatoes and try some delicious chips and salsa! Don't forget, tomatoes are an occasional vegetable in Phase 1 of the Protocol (maximum 4 cups per week).
Ingredients:
1 cup tomatoes, roughly chopped
½ cup red onion, roughly chopped
½ cup cucumber, roughly chopped
½ jalapeno (optional)
Cilantro, small handful (optional)
2 tsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 packet of your favorite Ideal Protein Dorados or Crisps
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except Dorados/Crisps in a food processor or blender.
2. Run the food processor or blender for a few seconds, careful not to over blend the salsa. You still want some small chunks.
3. Pour into a bowl.
4. Dip your Dorados or Crisps in the salsa and enjoy!
