Sunshine, fresh air and a meaningful cause — yesterday’s Parkinson’s Awareness Walk was one to remember.
Residents, team members and friends came together to raise awareness, show support and celebrate the strength of those impacted by Parkinson’s. Every step taken was a reminder of the power of community and the importance of continuing the conversation around this disease.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. Together, we’re moving forward — one step at a time.
Caregivers and people living with Parkinson Disease (PD) are invited to the PD Support Group. We meet for introductions, a bit of sharing, make plans for future activities, and of course, provide lots of encouragement and support. This group meets the last Tuesday of every month (there will be no meeting in April) at The Chapel at Orchard Ridge, A Center for Faith & Community Life, 400 Clocktower Ridge Drive, Wi******er, VA 22603
