Celebrating our talented culinary team! Last week, Head Chef Matt and Sous Chef Whitney showcased their skills at the Culinary Olympics with a delicious flank steak dish, sautéed peppers, onions, and a sweet chili sauce over rice. This month, we are proud to feature one of our beloved residents, Bob. Bob has lived in Wi******er for most of his life, having been raised here and graduating from high school, where he met his future wife, Nancy. He later attended the University of Kentucky, and after graduating, he reconnected with Nancy. The two eventually married and welcomed a son and a daughter, raising their family here in Wi******er. Bob is an accomplished golfer and a former tournament champion at Wi******er Country Club. When he’s not on the course, he loves watching football and basketball and proudly cheering on Big Blue. We are so fortunate to have Bob with us and celebrate all that he brings to our community!

Oh, what fun we had at the Trail during Christmas Spirit Week! 🎄

Today, we were reminded of the incredible power of music as one of our residents sat at the piano and began to play. 🎹

Even with dementia, the ability to connect through music often remains strong. The rhythm, the muscle memory, the familiar melodies… they light something up inside. ✨

We are so grateful for moments like this — reminders that the heart remembers what the mind may forget.
