The 20th year of Camp Follow the Leader came to a close with a truly memorable week. From crafts and games to music and piggyback rides, our campers made memories to last a lifetime. One camper summed it up perfectly: “I like how they help me and give me piggybacks!” A special highlight was the exciting visit from Round Hill Community Fire and Rescue, the Frederick County Virginia Sheriff's Office, and Valley Medical Transport, as well as witnessing a helicopter landing. Campers got to explore emergency vehicles, meet local heroes, and learn about safety in the most fun way possible. Huge thanks to our incredible buddies, therapists, and volunteers who made this week so special.

At some point in our lives, 80% of us will experience back or neck pain. Spine conditions can cause discomfort, numbness, and difficulty moving the neck, torso, arms, or legs, as well as other symptoms. Thanks to a remarkable minimally invasive spine surgery at Wi******er Medical Center, and with the help of Valley Health Virginia Brain & Spine in September, Angie Clower is cooking breakfast again most mornings at the popular diner she owns in Romney, WV.

At Valley Health, the diagnosis, management and treatment of back, neck and other spine-related conditions is the work of a team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain specialists, rehabilitation specialists and more.
