We had such a blast on Saturday seeing everyone at the Pickle Festival! 🥒🚑🥒

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello — we loved connecting with so many of you!

Even while we were out enjoying the day with you all, our crews stayed busy — responding to 6 calls with both ambulances out and covering every one of them.

🚑💙 Back to School! 🎒✨

The school year is here again, and our streets are a little busier with buses, bikes, and bright young learners heading to class. Let’s all work together to keep them safe:

👩‍👧‍👦 Parents & Students – Practice safe walking and biking habits. Use crosswalks, look both ways, and stay alert.
🚗 Drivers – Slow down in school zones, watch for buses, and avoid distractions behind the wheel.
🚌 Community – A little patience and extra caution goes a long way in protecting our children.

From the water department: The department has been made aware that parts of Wi******er and Ashuelot have no water. We are currently identifying the issue and will keep everyone updated as repairs are addressed.

Great Brook Academy is offering an EMT class. There’s still time to sign up if you’ve been thinking about becoming an EMS provider!

We are excited to announce that the following departments are now official employer sponsors under the Great Brook Academy sponsorship through ApprenticeshipNH:

- Great Brook EMS: 8 positions
- Deering Fire Department: 2 positions
- Antrim Fire Department: 1–2 positions
- Pittsfield Fire Department: 2–3 positions

**There’s Still Time!**
Potential apprentices can still seize this fantastic opportunity, and departments can still register as employers in the program. This initiative is a wonderful way for neighbors to support each other, ensuring that when lifesaving calls come in, there’s always someone ready to respond.

Interested in becoming an EMT? **The last day to add or drop the EMT class is 9/15.**

To register, follow the link provided and, under the payment section, select "pay by check." We’ll secure your spot as an apprentice.

**Requirements**
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must pass a criminal background check
