Our Story

Do you need services for your child or teen right now? At CPC children are seen within the week and often times by the next day! We offer after-school hours and have no wait list. We have made the clinical decision to serve children and teens exclusively and that means the sooner the better for working towards positive mental health.

Serving ages primarily 5-21 is our specialty and priority. Each of our board licensed mental health therapists are trained and experienced in pediatric mental health and parenting. They obtain ongoing education and professional development with a concentration in those areas which are current and having the most impact on children and families. In other words, our counselor’s are highly skilled pediatric health care professionals and can assist families with navigating through a largely adult perspective mental health care world. CPC works with you to develop a health care plan and team that facilitates best practices for children and teens.

Kali C. Klubertanz, MA, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor Hi! I am happy you are here! I am the owner & clinical director of CPC and I have made it a priority to assist with the mental health needs of children and teens specifically ages 5 to 21 because as our mission statement asserts, "the sooner the better", when treating mental health. I believe that mental health for children and adolescents is just as important as physical health and that it is vital that families are being helped and supported in managing their children’s mental health needs. I have been in the mental health field serving children and teens since 1997 and specifically the youth of Wi******er and surrounding communities since 2009. Since I have worked in this field for an extensive amount of time as well as through affiliation with the local schools, I have found a specific need in our community for helping children, adolescents, and young adults to ensure they can transition into their next chapter smoothly and at their best. I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science, dual majoring in psychology and social science. I earned my Master of Arts from Liberty University in professional counseling; I am board licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Commonwealth of Virginia. My high school sweetheart husband and I have four wonderful children ages 11 to 19. I believe in making self-care a priority and practicing the advice I give my client's and their families. My personal self-care includes daily exercise; yoga; listening to all kinds of music - everything from pop, country, alternative, hip-hop/rap, to classical and more, reading, and York Peppermint Patties - Yum!
