Beverly Jean Johnson, 75
A resident of Richmond, KY, was born on December 27, 1950, to the late Embry and Margaret Chenault.

She peacefully departed this life after battling a lengthy illness on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY., surrounded by her loving family.

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her devoted siblings, Pamela (Velmar) Miller, Elder William K. (Marti) Chenault, Jennifer (Kenny) Turner, Bobbie Carmichael, and Miles Chenault.

Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Butler, as well as her parents.

Douglas Raymond Amburgey of Central KY was born on February 25, 1942, in London, KY to the late Clifford and Rachel Nanz Amburgey.

Douglas's legacy continues as he entered eternal rest on March 19, 2026, at Baptist Hospital Health in Corbin, KY.

In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his wife, Claretta Amburgey, and his siblings: Joseph Amburgey, R.C. Amburgey, Judith Wagoner, and Jewell Morgan.

Douglas is survived by a daughter, Bobbi Lin; siblings Jessie and Ralph Greer of Danville, KY, and Renee Barringer of Ohio; a nephew; and a host of family and friends.

Douglas was a Navy veteran. He served for four years. He was a proud member of the American Legion 313 and Old Habits Dock, Family and Friends and Home Away from Home.
Douglas’ formative years were in London, KY. Later in his life, he moved and resided in Richmond, KY. Douglas lived a life of laughter and kindness.

Dougals spent a lot of his life as a bartender. He never met a stranger. Douglas will be missed by his family and friends.

Derrick Lamont Sullivan was born on September 22, 1977, in Wi******er, Kentucky, to the late Willa Mae Sullivan and William Edward Lillard. He departed this life on February 27, 2026.

Derrick had a deep love for his children and grandchildren, who meant everything to him. He also had a strong love for University of Kentucky basketball and was a loyal fan throughout the years.

He is survived by his children, Jordan, Ty’Quasha, Shawnta, Jayla, Willam, Lamonee, JaNylah, Derrick Jr., and stepdaughters Jasmine and Cecile. He was a proud grandfather to Gabe, Jervon Jr., and Ty’Shon. He is also survived by his siblings: Cynthia, Flossie, Michael, Anthony, LaShonia, Patrick, Jeffrey, Jonda, Russell, and Waynee; special family members Jonathon and Camella; and special loved ones Joi, Keiren, and Kellie Meadows. He leaves behind extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Shanece Sullivan and Monique Dyer; his parents, Willa Mae Sullivan and William Edward Lillard; and Geneva Simmons, Helen Ratliff, and Edward Lillard.

His memory will live on through the family he leaves behind.
