We were so grateful to join the ACMA Virginia Chapter Spring Conference last week — thank you to ACMA Virginia for creating space for thoughtful dialogue and for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event. 🦋

Dr. Sonja Richmond and Dr. Anne Silao‑Solomon led an important conversation on ethics and compassionate care in hospice and palliative medicine. Drawing on decades of combined experience, they shared how ethical frameworks, mindful communication, and patient‑centered practices can support individuals and families through some of life’s most complex moments.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to learn alongside case managers and care partners who are equally committed to helping people receive the right care at the right time.

The Virginia PACE Alliance, which Blue Ridge Care and Blue Ridge Independence at Home are members, held its annual Capitol Day in Richmond, VA on Tuesday, February 24th. Each PACE organization visited with their respective elected representatives and provided each with a better understanding about PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) and how it saves the Commonwealth and taxpayers money!
