Passover begins today, and we extend warm wishes to all who are observing this holiday of remembrance, resilience, and community. 🦋

Passover is an eight‑day Jewish holiday that commemorates the journey from slavery to freedom — a story retold each year through the Seder meal, symbolic foods, and rituals that reflect themes of liberation, justice, and hope. Many families gather to share traditions that honor perseverance and the importance of caring for one another.

At Blue Ridge Care, we honor the diverse beliefs, traditions, and experiences of our teammates and the communities we serve.

May this Passover bring peace, light, and renewal to all who observe.

Chag Sameach — wishing a joyful and meaningful Passover to all who celebrate

At Blue Ridge Care, we know that navigating grief can feel overwhelming — and no one should have to figure it out alone. 💙🦋

This April, our Center for Hope & Healing is offering supportive, accessible grief groups — in person, virtual, nature‑based, and family‑focused — to help you take the next step with clarity and companionship.

We’re also grateful to continue partnering with Holistic Horsemanship Counseling and More, bringing equine‑assisted grief sessions that create grounding, connection, and gentle moments of healing in the presence of horses.

If you’re looking for a place to start, we’re here to guide you.

We were so grateful to join the ACMA Virginia Chapter Spring Conference last week — thank you to ACMA Virginia for creating space for thoughtful dialogue and for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event. 🦋

Dr. Sonja Richmond and Dr. Anne Silao‑Solomon led an important conversation on ethics and compassionate care in hospice and palliative medicine. Drawing on decades of combined experience, they shared how ethical frameworks, mindful communication, and patient‑centered practices can support individuals and families through some of life’s most complex moments.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to learn alongside case managers and care partners who are equally committed to helping people receive the right care at the right time.

“At Blue Ridge Care, I feel strongly supported by the entire team.”

Candice reminds us that when nurses feel supported, they’re empowered to provide the best possible care to every patient and family.

If you’re looking for a nursing role rooted in collaboration, support, and quality care, we’re hiring RNs and LPNs.

Happy International Women's Day! đź’®

Today, we celebrate Helen Zebarth, whose passion, vision, and courage paved the way for better care for families across our community.

As we mark 45 years of caring for life in 2026, Helen’s passion continues to guide us. Her determination in 1981 transformed how care was delivered—and today, she inspires our team as we meet families at every stage of life’s journey through illness, age‑related health decline, end of life, and grief.

Thank you, Helen, for your leadership, your dedication, and the extraordinary care you continue to advance.
