We keep hearing the same thing from nurses… “I don’t want to stay at the bedside, I just don’t know what’s next.”

Casey, NNBA Member Engagement and Operations, will be going live to walk through our upcoming NNBA workshop where we break down how to turn your experience into a service-based business and actually get started with a clear plan.

If you work in home care, senior care, or any referral-driven business, you know the feeling…

Meeting with hospitals, dropping off brochures, bringing coffee and following up but still... the referrals are inconsistent. So how do you position your agency to be seen as a vital partner, rather than “just another vendor"?

One of NNBA’s trusted partners, Briones Consulting Group, is hosting a powerful program called: "From Vendor to Vital Partner" and this 4-week business growth accelerator is designed to help senior care businesses build stronger referral relationships and create consistent referral pipelines.

Within the 4 weeks, you’ll learn how to:

✔ Build stronger referral relationships
✔ Improve start-of-care speed
✔ Show outcomes that actually matter
✔ Earn repeat referrals instead of chasing them

The program includes live sessions, recordings, and a private community so you can apply what you learn right away!

📅 It starts March 10th and NNBA members and friends can save $100 with code V2VP100

Hey! I’m Casey. I’m a former psychiatric bedside nurse who eventually got pretty tired of the 16 hour shifts and occasionally getting beat up by patients. Nursing is rewarding, but it can also be exhausting.

Now I work with the National Nurses in Business Association.

We help nurses take the next step in their careers. That might mean starting a business, growing a business you already have, or simply exploring what other opportunities exist outside the bedside.

I wanted to share this upcoming virtual webinar because it’s free as a benefit for all NNBA members and less than $50 for non-members. We also have two different session options so you can join whichever works best for your schedule. Register here: https://nursesbusiness.com/nnba-2026-virtual-event/

If you’ve been curious about what else is possible in nursing, we would love to have you join us! I included a link where you can learn more about NNBA and see other events and resources we offer for nurses who are exploring a career change: www.nursesbusiness.com

Hope to see you there!

Spring is the season of decluttering, resetting, and making space for something better. But what if we applied that to our nursing careers?

If you could eliminate ONE thing from nursing tomorrow… what would it be?
Unsafe staffing?
Mandatory overtime?
Toxic culture?
The guilt?
The exhaustion?

Today we’re having a conversation about what nurses are tired of tolerating, and what might actually be within our control to change.
