Happy New Year! We hope your family emerged from the holiday season refreshed and healthy!
But...sometimes...our families end up not feeling so well, whether we spent time with sick relatives or just 'holiday-ed out' our immune systems. We've been hearing about respiratory illness (the never-ending cough) and stomach viruses. Ugh. Neither are fun, but if you're like us, we have particular disdain for the GI variety.
What can you do?
At the first sign of GI distress, it's important to start everyone on preventative treatment. We like On Guard+ Protective Blend Softgels, with oregano, black pepper, clove, melissa and more. If your kids are too young for caps, then you can grab essential oils like On Guard, Oregano & Thyme, add some coconut oil to HEAVILY DILUTE, and use topically on their feet and bellies (adults can typically tolerate these taken internally). These are powerful oils that will help to protect tummies, but they are "hot" oils that can cause skin irritation, so again, HEAVILY DILUTE, or grab the "Touch" versions of these oils that are already diluted. Use several times daily as a preventative, and if someone starts with sickness, use more often. Also, grab Digestzen, Ginger and Tamer, which ALL help to make GI systems feel better faster.
