🌎Today is World Health Day!💙

This is a reminder that health is more than just the absence of illness-it's about physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This day serves as a reminder of the importance of preventative care, early detection, and access to quality healthcare services for all.

Let's use today to check in: schedule that appointment for your annual exam, mammogram, or other screening tests. Take good care of yourself-take a walk or do a workout, drink more water and eat healthier, rest when you need to, and reach out for support if you're struggling. Small steps can make a big ditterence.

Healthcare is a collaborative effort between providers, patients, and communities.

Growing up on a horse and cattle farm, she was around reproductive health her entire life and never felt it was weird or taboo. As she aged, she noticed many of my friends were ashamed of many normal functions of the female physiology or anatomy. Not only was she not ashamed of the workings of the female body, but she was extremely intrigued by the complexity of Women's Health. She is extremely passionate about educating women about the normal or abnormal functions of the body and how it relates to them. It is now her mission to decrease the stigma around Women's Health.

Mexican food-but specifically cheese dip and refried beans.

🌺unTabooing Women's Health
She is passionate about removing the stigma around all things Women's Health. It is her goal with every single visit to make a patient feel comfortable and listened to. She is fortunate enough that her patients allow her to care for them at their most vulnerable times. While pregnancy is such an important part of many women's lives, she is passionate about making sure that women are being cared for and caring for themselves at every stage-not just during pregnancy. From annual well woman visits and birth control, to concerns like abnormal uterine bleeding and vaginal and vulvar issues, to menopausal/perimenopausal care including hormone replacement therapy we have you covered at HighPoint Women's Health.

💛🌼March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛🌼

At our office, we want to help raise awareness about endometriosis, a condition that affects 1 in 10 women.

Endometriosis can cause chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, infertility, and significantly impact a woman’s quality of life. Too often, patients wait years for a diagnosis.

At our practice, we are committed to listening, educating, and helping patients find answers and treatment options.

If you are experiencing ongoing pelvic pain or symptoms that interfere with your daily life, we encourage you to call our office and make an appointment with one of our physicians.
