Here is our full October teaching schedule, as reflected in our calendar.
Wednesday, Oct 1 - Better Human Book Club at Handley Library at 6:30pm. Discussion: chapters 1-5 of The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt
Saturdays, Oct 4, 11, 18, & 25 - Practical Tai Chi at First Presbyterian Church at 11am (Lyle teaching Oct 4 & 11)
Saturdays, Oct 18th & 25th - Beginner Yang-style Tai Chi at First Presbyterian Church at 9:30am
Saturday, October 25 - Men's Health Workshop at Bowman library, 1-2:30pm (men only, please! Taught by Dr Lyle Wilson.)
Fridays, Oct 10 & 24 - Tea & Tai Chi at Handley Library at 11am
Wednesday, Oct 8 - Practical Tai Chi at Godfrey Miller Center at 11am (Lyle covering)
Wednesday, Oct 29 - Women's Qigong at Bowman Library at 5:30pm
Mondays, October 20 & 27 - Women's Qigong at 5:30pm at Willow Grove Farm
Please note that since Adrian will be out of town for two weeks beginning tomorrow, our schedule is a little lighter this month than normal. We will NOT be hosting our 1st Thursday virtual offering this month, nor will the women's qigong class be meeting until Adrian's return. We're grateful to Lyle for teaching our scheduled offerings while Adrian enjoys some much-needed time off.
Once Adrian officially returns (October 18), everyone will have a chance to begin attending MoveMentation's newest offering, a Beginners Yang-style Tai Chi class. This class was previously taught by Adrian underneath her personal business of Tai Chi Healing Energies; since so many students have requested more tai chi, Adrian has decided to allow MM to officially host the class, making it donation-based with no set fee. This class, along with the Saturday morning Practical Tai Chi class, is held in the Rumble Room at First Presbyterian Church. Please note that our agreement with the church has us needing to keep the doors locked in between classes; unfortunately late arrivals to the 9:30am Yang-style tai chi class will NOT be admitted to the church. Please arrive early or on time to ensure being let into the building.
