Tonight marks the beginning of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish Festival of Lights.

Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and the miracle of a small amount of oil that lasted eight nights — a story rooted in resilience, faith, and the enduring power of light.

As families and communities gather to light the menorah, Hanukkah invites reflection on hope, perseverance, and the importance of bringing light into the lives of others.

Blue Ridge Care was honored to join the Spring Arbor of Leesburg community for a recent remembrance service — a meaningful gathering to reflect, remember, and hold space for those we have lost in 2025.

With care and compassion, our teammates Carrie, Casey, and Abraham helped guide the service, creating a comforting space for residents, families, and staff.

A beautifully adorned wreath was left as a tribute to those remembered, a symbol of connection and the shared commitment to honoring every life’s journey.

🦋 Bringing Adventures Through Grief to Wi******er & Loudoun County

Adventures Through Grief is a guided support program, led by our Bereavement Counselors, that helps teens (13–17) and young adults (18–26) explore their grief through creativity, storytelling, and meaningful connection.

Through a collaborative table-top role-playing experience, participants are guided through a safe and engaging space where they can better understand their feelings, strengthen coping skills, and feel less alone after the loss of someone significant in their lives.

Natalie's story is a powerful one. A victim of domestic abuse, Natalie started fine catering company Fleur de Cuisine to provide for her kids. With a little help from our friends at LAWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services and Loudoun Cares she built a thriving business delivering chef-driven experiences that are personal, soulful, and full of flavor.

We are incredibly grateful to Natalie and Tiana for donating these catered meals for us to offer our donors! 💗

💙 WOW — we are still feeling the excitement from Giving Tuesday!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only met our $10,000 goal — we exceeded it! Because of you, “Adela’s Room” is now becoming a reality.

Our first purchase using these funds? A pediatric SleepSafe Beds — a critical piece of equipment that will help keep our young patients safe and comfortable.

We are beyond grateful for each and every gift that made this possible — and to Adela’s family for sharing her with us and the community, inspiring this meaningful project.
