TODAY The Archaeological Society of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley Chapter will have a speaker on March 22 at 2:00 at Stephen’s City United Methodist Church on Main Street.
Mike Clem, Eastern Regional Archaeologist at Virginia Department of Historic Resources, will speak on the Eyreville site, 1600s , on the Eastern shore. Event Open to the public.

Without the actions taken by civic & historically minded folks to create the FIW Foundation and purchase this property in 2002 when it became available, the valuable historical site would have remained just another house along a pretty Wi******er street. With the help of volunteers and supporters we are making great strides and moving forward. Thanks so much to all of you.
