What most people fail to realize is that, anytime you or your partner threaten to leave each other, while lashing out through emotional overload, what you are actually doing is activating SURVIVAL MODE in your partner.

They will automatically withdraw into a survival state of mind because their sense of safety & stability is being threatened. They feel as if, they can no longer depend on what they thought was a solid foundation; and in turn, they will now feel like they have to step up and make sure that, if for any reason your words hold true, they can make it on their own.

This is just a small example of both, saying what you don’t mean and behaviors that indicate an imbalance within the root chakra.

The root chakra governs your sense of safety and stability. It’s located at the base of your spine and resonates with the color red. When affected, you may feel fearful, insecure, unmotivated, scattered, and/or disconnected. You may also have back, legs, and issues with your feet.
