We can’t let the month end without a shout out 📣 📣 📣 to our Ahhhhhmazing OTs!!!

April is OT Month and these ladies go above and beyond to make a difference in these children’s lives. From improving fine motor skills to meeting sensory needs they show up everyday to pour their hearts into our LCI families.

You might ask them “why” they became an OT…and their reasons all go back to wanting to have an impact on others, wanting to make a difference in children’s lives that’s long lasting, and wanting to help others build independence.

Lindsey, Carlie, Rosemary, Megan, Bekah, and Keelei go above and beyond to help build essential skills for daily living, independence, and play.

We love our OTs and are blessed with The Best!!!

A new online portal is available for Georgia Medicaid Katie Beckett members. The new portal is designed to provide a more convenient way to access and manage your benefits.

With the new portal, you can:
- Upload and submit application & renewal documents
- Track your application status and checklists
- Securely message your case worker

Once you complete a new application or renewal, you will receive an email to set up your account at katiebeckettportal.dch.georgia.gov

Recent proposed Medicaid changes may impact your child’s access to therapy. As a Parent/Guardian/Caregiver you should reach out and help protect therapy services for your child. 📝 Children enrolled in Medicaid are entitled to timely access to medically necessary care, including speech, occupational, and physical therapy.

Many families are unclear on their rights or what steps to take when care is delayed or interrupted.

Miss Caroline has some exciting news!

Aaron graduated physical therapy! Packed with nonstop energy and thr modt radiant sunshiney smile, he has met all of his goals. From walking up and down stairs, to balance, kicking and throwing a ball....he has mastered them all!

We are so proud of you and for you Aaron! Keep on keeping on.

Hard work x2! Alina and Ema have graduated speech-language therapy! They have been working hard to meet their goals and it shows. Both made IMPRESSIVE gains (in some areas 13 months of progress over the last 6 months) and they're moving on.

Congratulations ladies! Miss Deana, Miss Heather, Miss Julia and Miss Melissa are so very proud of your hard work.
