My Journey in Energy Work
I was just thinking about how long it has been since I started my road to Reiki healing. I really have been doing it most of my life but I just didn’t know what it was. Then, in my later years I found different names like Reiki, Energy Healing , Kruna Ki, Healing Hands-all doing the same thing- helping people be balanced and healthy in their lives. While I still lived in NJ I took my first Reiki I class and got my first certification. It was 2 years later when I took my Reiki II and became certificated in that. We then in 2010 moved to Georgia, where things were very different. People were not as open to Reiki work, they wanted to associate it with a religion-which it is not. In 2011 I finally found others who did Reiki and thought about things as I did. In 2012 I took my Reiki Master and then in 2013 I took my master in Kruna Ki Reiki and have been moving forward ever since. I have held Reiki classes and taught others, I have an open house Reiki Share the second Wednesday evening of every month at my home in Winder. This is where people can come and have practiced Reiki work done on them. If they want to they can participate in giving Reiki to others, or they can just watch and ask questions. Now is the time for the “Alternative Way of Healing” to start. There are over 1000 hospitals and clinics, doctor’s offices that use Reiki Practice on a daily basis-mostly located in the north. It is time for the south to get on board and start doing what the rest of the country is doing. The UK and other countries are so far a head of us; using Reiki Practice in place of pain medications, we need to get on board.
