When we are grateful, we help others by carrying someone's groceries, making that cup of coffee or tea, picking flowers on the street and offering them to someone, opening a door for someone else...

Can not only give someone else a feeling of gratitude , it can also lift you up !

Trying to feel better or escape by using substances or purchase things, to fill your soul?

The work necessary to feel the happiness, joy, satisfaction you are seeking...are not met by things outside of us.. at least not anything that will hold any longevity

The work & answers are inside us...

It's about the willingness to be honest with ourselves and then doing the work ... with someone

I believe we do know what we need to work on If we're honest with ourselves and we need some form of support helping us to process what needs to be processed to help us to move forward in life...

As someone once we need pilgrimage to give us space to process our emotions our thoughts as many times as we need to to help us to come out the other side....
