Have you considered PT to address IBS, GERD, SIBO or another digestive issue??!? We work with individuals with these diagnoses daily using visceral manipulation. When medical management isn’t enough sometimes addressing the physical structure can help!

🌿 Did you know your gut and brain are in constant conversation?
What you feel emotionally can have a direct impact on your digestive health — and vice versa! That's why integrative therapies like Visceral Manipulation are making such a difference for people struggling with digestive issues.

🧠➡️💚 The brain-gut connection explains how stress, emotions, and even trauma influence gut function, contributing to issues like IBS, GERD, and inflammation. Manual Therapy approaches support this connection, helping to bring balance to both mind and body.

Craniosacral Therapy is such an amazing tool! POTS, Post Covid, Dysautonomia and so much more!!

We’re currently booking new clients for August 📅 Reach out now to get in before summer vacation ends!!

🧠💓 Could One Gentle Technique Reset Autonomic Imbalance?
CranioSacral Therapy might hold the key.

A published case study in the Cureus Journal of Medical Science explores how a 39-year-old man suffering from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)—a form of dysautonomia that spiked after COVID—found lasting relief not from medication, but from osteopathic manual therapy, specifically the CV4 technique (Compression of the Fourth Ventricle).

🌿 What’s compelling?
✅ Symptoms improved after the first CV4 session
✅ Heart rate response normalized over a series of sessions
✅ Symptom-free for over 6 months

This case proposes CranioSacral Therapy as a viable standalone modality for managing neuropathic POTS—an increasingly common challenge in post-COVID patients.

✨ For manual therapists, it’s a powerful reminder: the body has the potential to reset, given the right support.

So excited to celebrate .inspiringhope 2 year SCAD anniversary with her today ❤️

SCAD stands for Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection and is a type of rare tissue damage that results in a heart attack.

There are always lots of emotions around the anniversary of any type of traumatic event. It’s important to acknowledge and process all the challenging ones and it’s also important to embrace the good ones too!!!

I absolutely love that Tara showed up today with giant red “2” and heart balloons. She had her family and friends sign them!! What an amazing way to bring a playful, joyful, innocence and celebratory nature to the anniversary of something so challenging. I’m sure her amazing nature is why she inspired to develop a new SCAD Sports Clinic 💪❤️ Way to go Tara! 🎉🥳🎉👏👏👏👏👏

10 years ago: Body and Mind’s first “office”! 💙

My first space was a 6x10 walk in closet turned into a cozy therapy room. A huge thank you to all the people that put their trust in me back then to provide excellent care despite the small size of my space 💕

It’s inspiring to see the growth Body and Mind has experienced over the last decade and exciting to think about where Body and Mind will be 10 years from now!

None of this would be possible without all of my amazing clients 🤩😍🤩 You are all rockstars!!!
