During the month of June and July, Windham Lions celebrated milestone birthdays for two of our members. Lion Marie Russo turned a young 80 years and Lion Renee Bailey turned 75 years young! What a fun time we had celebrating our friends!

The Windham Lions Club extends their condolences to the family of Lion Frank Provenzano. Lion Frank was a longtime member who served as Treasurer for many years. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he served with pride and dedication.

At the recent District 44-H Lions Convention, Windham Lions Club received the Best Small Club Award for the 2024-2025 year along with the Certificate of Recognition in Marketing. International Director Hans Neidhart from Kansas and District Governor Peter LaPointe presented the Marketing award to Secretary Renee Bailey.

Lions Bill Brown, Becky Brown, MaryAnn Horaj, Zack Brown and Wayne Bailey donned their vests, gathered their tools and ventured out along Route 111 and Church Street on Saturday morning picking up trash that had accumulated during the winter months. Mother Nature played a big part in helping with the clean-up!!

Our Hugs and Cuddles Service Project brought 50 bears to Parkland Medical Center once again. These bears bring lots of smiles and comfort to the young patients during treatment.

Members of the Lions Club volunteered once again at our town's Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. It may have been a snowy, rainy morning, but Lion Susan Flynn's son Charlie was enjoying hunting for eggs and mugging it up for mommy to take his photo!

It's Hugs and Cuddles time - We have 50 bears packed in their little houses with their birth certificates and crayons ready to bring lots of hugs, cuddles and smiles to the patients at Parkland Medical Center.
