🏥✨ Hospital Week is always extra special when we get to welcome some very important visitors!

Yesterday, our staff hosted second-grade students from several area elementary schools for a behind-the-scenes look at our hospital and the many roles that help care for our community every day. From learning about different departments to meeting the people behind the scenes, students got a firsthand look at what it means to work in healthcare.

This annual visit is one of our favorite Hospital Week traditions, and we love inspiring curiosity, learning, and maybe even a few future healthcare professionals along the way! 💙

Knowing the signs of a stroke can save a life — maybe even your own. Remember to BE FAST:

🔹 Balance – Sudden loss of balance or coordination
🔹 Eyes – Sudden vision changes or trouble seeing
🔹 Face – One side of the face drooping
🔹 Arms – Arm weakness or numbness
🔹 Speech – Slurred speech or difficulty speaking
🔹 Time – Time to call 911 immediately

Every second counts during a stroke. Acting FAST can reduce long-term disability and improve recovery outcomes.
