It's just CONDOM sense!

To protect yourself from Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) always remember to:

-Use before ge***al contact from start to finish.
-Know that one is enough (no need to double up).
-Use a new condom every time and check for tears or defects.
-Check that you're using a water-based or silicone-based l**e instead of an oil-based.
-Use latex or polyurethane instead of natural membrane condom (like lambskin).
-Always talk with your healthcare provider and get tested for STIs and HIV.

Wrapping it up correctly and consistently can lower your chances of getting certain STIs, like HIV (which is up to 91% for receptive a**l s*x and up to 80% for vaginal s*x).

What is PrEP?
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a prescription medication taken routinely BEFORE your exposed to HIV to prevent transmission.
-It doesn't protect against other STIs, so its important to still use condoms and other healthy s*x practices.
-It is for people who are HIV-negative and are at a higher risk of getting HIV through s*x or injection drug use.
-It comes in two forms, injection shots and pill form.
It is NOT to be used:
In emergencies.
As a one time only method
As a prevention method for other STIs or pregnancy.
Or people who are living with HIV.
The best way to find out is talking with your healthcare provider to see if PrEP is right for you.

National Immunization Awareness Month aims to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination across the lifespan to help protect communities from serious diseases.
💉 Vaccines Save Lives
Infectious diseases like measles, flu, and COVID-19 can spread quickly—but vaccines give our bodies the tools to fight back. When we get vaccinated, we’re not just protecting ourselves—we’re protecting our families, elders, and community.
✅ Stay up-to-date on your vaccines.
✅ Protect those who can’t get vaccinated.
✅ Keep our community strong and healthy.
Strong bodies, strong nations. 🪶

July 21st marks Zero HIV Stigma Day, spearheading a movement and uniting people, communities, organizations, and entire countries to raise awareness and take action against HIV stigma, which reinforces and amplifies the HIV pandemic and related inequalities. While occasions such as World AIDS Day bring needed awareness to HIV in general, there has never been a global awareness day specifically to challenge the impact of stigma, which persists despite biomedical advancements in HIV prevention and care.
