The first two X-rays are what a normal knee looks like. This is my left knee. The second two x-rays are what my right knee looks like. Notice there is literally no space between the bones. This is why I spent the morning in Urgent Care. The right knee has become dislocated/subluxated. This is what happened to me in my first year of college. It started causing a lot of pain and extremely limited range of motion yesterday.

An impending appointment with a knee specialist is in the near future. I have always maintained that I will wait as long as possible before submitting to surgery of any kind. The longer you can wait, the more advanced the procedure will be. I really am not prepared to deal with this right now, but when has the Universe ever gone by my schedule?

Time of Death: 1200 Hours , November 26, 2024

I will no longer be offering yoga classes as of December 1st. It pains me to do this, but I have been trying to build the program for ten years. Currently we are struggling to even get two people to come to class. It is exhausting.

For those of you that were faithful and came to class, thank you very much for your support. I don’t want to minimize how much you have meant to me over the years. I have had many other people say, “I have always wanted to do a class with you“, and yet they never showed up. Yoga is like any other business; if people don’t show up on a regular basis, the business goes under.

I will continue to incorporate Ashtanga yoga with my personal training clients. To that end, if people are interested, I would be available for private group sessions at the following rates:

One person – $80
Two people – $100
Three people $120
Four people – $140

I have now come full circle and am back to wearing glasses. This is my new pair!
