✨Many people who come to therapy have already done so much work.
✨They have read the books, listened to the podcasts, journaled, reflected, and tried to understand why they feel the way they do.
And yet, they still find themselves reacting, bracing, shutting down, people pleasing, feeling anxious, or carrying emotional pain that feels bigger than the present moment.
✨One of the reasons EMDR often feels different than traditional therapy is because it is not working only with insight. It is working with the nervous system and emotional learning underneath the symptoms.

Many people understand their trauma intellectually but still feel stuck emotionally. Learn why EMDR often feels different and how it works with the nervous system.
