Important Community Update 🚨

Effective immediately, it is now ILLEGAL to gamble in any assisted living community across Connecticut. 🎰❌

This means no poker nights, no bingo, no scratch tickets… not even betting on who finishes their dessert first! 😱

We know this may come as quite the shock, and we ask for your full cooperation during this time as we adjust to this very serious new regulation.

✨️ Our community was transformed into a dreamy "Under the Stars" theme for our annual Senior Prom ✨️

This lovely production was put on by the Windsor Locks High School National Honor Society. With the room full of laughter, dancing, and delicious refreshments, it was truly a day to remember! From twirling on the dance floor to snapping cute pictures at the photo booth, the smiles said it all- proof that you're never too old for a little sparkly celebration 🌠

Today’s Art Therapy class at our monthly Parkinson’s Movement Café was nothing short of magical! Led by the incredibly talented Brianna Colbath, the room was filled with creativity, color, and connection as participants brought stunning sunset scenes to life on canvas.
Each piece reflected a unique expression of joy and accomplishment. Laughter, encouragement, and a true sense of community made this experience unforgettable—everyone walked away not only with a beautiful painting, but with full hearts and uplifted spirits.

What a reel-y great day out! 🎣 Our residents had an adventure at Bass Pro Shop—taking in the incredible taxidermy displays, enjoying the mesmerizing aquarium, and even testing their aim at the shooting gallery game (we’ve got some sharp shooters in the group! 🎯).

We wrapped up the trip on a sweet note—literally—by visiting the famous Faddy’s Donuts food truck. Let’s just say we didn’t leave hungry! 🍩

Another fin-tastic outing in the books! 💙

What an unforgettable night! ✨ “The Magic of Hope” was nothing short of spectacular—raising an incredible $65,000 for the APDA Connecticut Chapter Chapter! The energy in the room was absolutely electric, and the performances were breathtaking. Our celebrity dancers, paired with their Arthur Murray Dance Studio professional instructors, delivered show-stopping routines that had the entire audience cheering. Truly a night to remember!

💚 Today we gathered in green attire to celebrate St. Paddy's Day! We enjoyed happy hour with delicious potato skins, sparkling green wine, and traditional Celtic music. The celebration continued into the evening with a hearty corned beef dinner, bringing everyone together for great food, laughter, and a little extra luck of the Irish.🇮🇪

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our community! Today was extra special as we held our very first official choir gathering — now with a wonderful pianist to accompany us!

Residents raised their voices and their Irish spirit as we sang. We can’t wait to see where this choir journey takes us! 🎶🍀
