Dr. Bream completed his MD at the Brody School of Medicine in 2009 and Emergency Medicine residency training in 2012 at Vidant Medical Center. Dr. Bream is currently practicing in multiple Emergency Departments across North Carolina and has 5+ years of Medical Director experience as well. The deal could give WakeMed easier access to capital as it seeks to compete with UNC Health and Duke Health. It would also give Atrium a foothold in the fast-growing Triangle market.
