Well, H-E-L-L-O! It's been a minute since I've posted anything on this page. I'm in a very transitional phase with my business these days and I'm not sure what role social media will play in the future. I have a real love/hate relationship with it that I haven't quite resolved. And while my passions and creations are incubating, I've been feeling that the best way to honor this process is to allow it to unfold behind the scenes for now. But I do have something I want to share today.

I've been sitting on this for several weeks, feeling into how or if and when I would acknowledge this. Here is what my heart has settled on...

This plaque is not about being recognized for being the best at anything. It is symbolic of the efforts of so many amazing humans who choose to lead with their hearts.
💖
It says that I was trained well.....so thank you to the amazing instructors at Panacea School Of Integrative Health who put their heart and soul into sharing their passion for this work with others. I have taken what you taught me and made it my own, something I am deeply proud of and brings me great joy.

And most importantly,
💖
It says that I have amazing women in my life, clients who are thoughtful, kind, and who see the value in putting their energy into lifting another woman up. Women who understand the value of reciprocity. Women who have come to realize that bodywork and energy work are more than just tools for relaxation. Women who know that when they allow themselves to receive, they have more love to give. Women who feel and sense the deep truth that when we help one sister rise, we help all of us to rise.

And the real truth is that being "The Best" Massage Therapist isn't actually even a thing. Every single human in this field offers this work in their own unique style with their own unique touch and frequency. We are each artists with a craft all our own. You cannot compare one to another because the energy behind them is not equal. Sure, there are preferences and sure, some touch feels better than others. But comparing and categorizing people who do this work is like saying one birdsong in the forest is better than the other. No, the song of the chickadee and the song of the sparrow are each completely different and exquisitely beautiful on their own. The same is true for each and every bodyworker.

So dear clients of mine, this award is really for YOU. Your efforts at leading with love are awarded and acknowledged! YOU are amazing and so very loved and appreciated.

Welcome Spring!!

In my little neck of the woods, the ducks returned yesterday to the pond out back and even though the pond is not ready to open fully, they have found refuge in the only corner with open water. I look forward to their return every year and they are right on time.

It may be a bit before the tulips and daffodils are ready to bloom but there is so much magic in motion right now. Buds are forming, earth is melting, and last years fallen seeds are collecting energy and excitement from the sun right now as they prepare to burst forth anew again.

Why we sit in circle…. ✨💚✨

Will you... Hold my hand for a little while?
I don’t need you to save me

No need for you to hold my pain
But will you simply hold my hand?

But will you sit here for a while with me?

Sunday’s Women’s Circle was nothing less than a bold and brave expression of how women have the power to create real change in this world when we choose courage over fear, connection over competition and sisterhood over separation.

We let our guards down…..as much as our vulnerable, tender hearts could bear and dreamed together of a world where women….

✨ Empower and celebrate each other’s gifts and talents
✨ Cheer for each other’s successes
✨ Speak to each other with kindness
✨ Feel welcome at any table
✨ Recognize and encourage vulnerability
✨ Feel safe to lean on and ask each other for support
✨ Can own their innate feminine powers without fear
✨ Seek to understand each other before forming judgment
✨ Raise our daughters to see their sensitivity as a strength, and.....
✨ Where women are not put in a box.

You’ve heard it before…….”when you heal yourself, you heal the world.” Just imagine what the world would feel like if every woman shared this dream and did her part to create it. It starts within; and it starts with us.

Newest addition to my healing room. Just need to find a frame and this baby is going on the walls!

I love creating safe(r) and inspiring spaces for women to show up unapologetically, exactly as they are with the freedom to express themselves fully without fear of judgement or rejection.

What does your body say when you read this? I hope it’s a full-body f*ck yeah! Mine sure is. 💗

This is a tough one for a lot of women! Like anything though, being open to receive is a practice.

Relax, be present, let go of the need to control, even 1% less than you normally do. If a friend offers to pay for lunch, let them. If someone lets you skip ahead in line at the grocery store, say thank you. If you've asked for a sign from the universe, surrender and trust that it will come.
✨
Align yourself with the energy of receiving and allow the gifts flow to you.

Sacred intention 🌹…..it’s more than thought alone. Intention is crafted in words, but carries the weight of your soul and has the power to arrive in every cell of your body.

The power of our thoughts can literally command changes in our energy field.

This is just a fraction of the herbal supplements I’ve chosen to treat the physical imbalance in my body. The biology of belief also makes a huge difference in the capacity to heal.

Every single one of us is so much more than the labels we've had placed on us and even the ones we've chosen for ourselves.

When you introduce yourself, what do you say? What does your social media intro/bio have to say about you? Wife, mother, sister, daughter, caretaker, executive, home-maker, baker, mid-wife, banker, lawyer, healer, seer, intuitive, scientist, nurse, etc.
💚
How have others described you? Warm, friendly, loving, trustworthy, bestie, soul sister, mentor, creative, visionary. Or how about bitch, sneaky, selfish, rude, inconsiderate, whiny, too emotional, too loud, too fat, too skinny, too much.
💚
Labels belong on food packages. They are made to keep us in a box, keep us small, and to confine us, but they never, ever define us.
💚
You, beautiful, brilliant soul, are the only one who gets to say who you are. And if you have to reinvent yourself through a thousand deaths and rebirths in this lifetime, you get to do that too. You are pure potential and your power as a woman is boundless and limitless. Don't let anyone, especially yourself, label you as anything else.

Ditching the labels and stepping into who we truly are and who we are becoming are some of the things we'll be talking about in Circle and learning to listen with compassion and curiosity instead of judgment. We're up to a dozen brave women who are going to be joining together on the 29th.
