Please join us in congratulating Paramedic Joe Molleur on the completion of his Paramedic precepting process! Paramedic Molleur joined the WEMS team in September of 2024 as a Per Diem Paramedic. He has committed many hours of hard work to his training, and we are pleased to announce that he is fully authorized for independent practice with medical control through Hartford Hospital. We look forward to his continued growth as a Paramedic! 🎉🚑

The Windsor Health Department is offering a QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training class to interested residents on Tuesday, February 25 from 7 PM to 9 PM. This program is designed to teach people to identify warning signs of su***de, persuade the person to get help, and refer the person to appropriate resources.

Last week, Windsor EMS partnered with our friends at Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance for an incredible neonatal prehospital emergency training session led by Dr. Redmond, Director of the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital 24/7 Baby Program. 👶✨

We’re proud to work together, sharpening our skills to provide the best possible care for our tiniest patients. Huge thanks to Dr. Redmond for sharing her expertise and passion for neonatal care. 💪👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

Our hearts go out to our comrades at Windsor CT Police Department , as well as to the family and friends of Ofc. Louis Clayton. His presence will be greatly missed by all; especially by our providers. Special thanks to local agencies in their efforts to keep the Town of Windsor safe while allowing the processing of this loss. 🖤💙🖤
