Here's your pre-Friday PSA:
We all have aches, ailments, and pains sometimes but if your symptoms last more than a few days or if they continue to worsen, PLEASE GO SEE A DOCTOR! If you're having chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, etc., DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF or wait for or ask someone to take you! DIAL 9-1-1!! I see so many patients get admitted to HOSPICE all bc they ignored small symptoms until they became BIG ONES & then too far advanced to treat! Maybe it's NOT just a sore throat or your allergies... Maybe it's NOT "just a headache,"toothache, or stomach virus. I'm not trying to scare anyone but healthcare is no longer about our health, IT'S ABOUT MONEY, so we have to be more diligent over our own health! I can't speak for you but I'd rather pay a CO-PAY than for a CASKET! Oan, if you know ONE bee/wasp sting will k!ll you, CARRY YOUR EPI-PEN AT ALL TIMES!! If you know one sniff of "bad air" will trigger your asthma, you need to wear your inhaler around your NECK!! Men...put your pride aside & get your prostate checked! The 5yr survival rate for prostate cancer is 97%!! Those 4 secs of discomfort can be a matter of life & death! LITERALLY! And here's a bonus...GOOGLE & WEB MD ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!!
