There is a lot of melting during the day and re-freezing at night going on. Please utilize the blue barrels with the sand/salt mixture for your own safety. We will do the best we can to monitor the situation and dispatch the snow removal contractor for areas with a lot of built up ice. Temps are expected to be 40-48ยบ for the next five days, so hopefully that will eliminate the biggest part of the problem.

Hi everyone! In anticipation of the upcoming storm with over 12" expected, we have already notified our contractor to plan on raking roofs to minimize the possibility of ice damming. Don't be surprised to see them on the property, and we can probably expect it to take them 2-3 days to get to all the buildings. Call one of the directors if you have any questions...

Valley Village Condominiums has successfully attained FHA Re-Certification. This also means we are CHFA approved since CHFA uses the FHA Approved list to qualify condo associations!

Residents, please be aware that a black bear and her cub have been seen near the end of Dunfey Lane between the woods on the cul-de-sac and up to the Residence Inn property. Please do NOT approach the bear and take precautions and proceed indoors. The Animal Control Officer is aware of the bears, but call them if you sight the bears again.

There is a "FREE SHRED DAY" on Saturday May 3rd at Windsor Federal Bank in the center of town. Each vehicle has a 2 box/bag limit, but if you've got stuff to shred, they're taking your papers from 9AM to 1PM...Open to the community...you don't have to have an account there...it's "drive-thru" service...see you there!

The package for FHA re-certification of Valley Village has been submitted to HUD for approval. Hopefully we will hear from them by the end of January!

Thank you to those who have returned their ballots! We only need 2 or 3 more YES votes to get the job done. Please remind your neighbors to turn in their ballots if they haven't already done so!

We only need 4 or 5 more YES votes on the ballot to have Maintenance Standards officially in place...if you haven't turned in your ballot, please do so ASAP...if you have, please encourage your neighbors to do the same! This is a positive move for the Valley Village Association and will reduce our costs in a couple of different areas. Let's get it done!
