Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 13th Annual Memory Walk this past Sunday to honor and remember our loved ones. ❤️

Many thanks to our drummer, Mark Zarillo and to all of our sponsors and event volunteers! We are especially grateful to Loomis Chaffee School for generously hosting us on their beautiful campus and for all of their efforts which helped this special day come together. Thank you to all who attended and supported! ❤️

On-site registration is available. Just show up and sign up!

When: 9:30 AM
Where: Loomis Chaffee School, 4 Batchelder Road, Windsor
Cost: A donation of $20 per adult and $10 for children under 13.
Extra t-shirts will be available on a first come first served basis.

All funds raised support our ongoing and important work providing bereavement support at no cost to children and families in our community.

Memories are worth walking for. 🦋

Recently in our groups, each child created a self-portrait and completed a worksheet reflecting on their feelings.

Grief can often make children feel different or set apart from their peers. Through art and conversation, they had the opportunity to express those feelings, share what makes them unique, and feel understood in a safe, supportive space.

APRIL BOOK SPOTLIGHT 📚❤️: "No Matter What" by Debi Gliori

As character Small worries and asks, “Will you still love me… no matter what?” Caregiver Large offers steady reassurance: love doesn’t change, no matter how far apart they are or what happens. For families experiencing grief, this message can be especially meaningful. It opens the door to conversations about how love continues even when someone we care about is no longer physically with us.

This book can help children express fears about separation, loss, or change, while reminding them that the bond they share with loved ones endures. "No Matter What" offers comfort, connection, and a quiet reminder: love doesn’t end, it stays with us, always.

We were truly honored to host this Coffee Talk back in February and to share more about the support we offer. Thank you Windsor Public Schools for the opportunity to host and be part of the conversation. We are always here to support Windsor Public Schools, Windsor residents, and communities across Connecticut navigating grief. 💙

In a recent group, the kids took part in a fishing game, “catching” questions and sharing their thoughts and feelings. Each question was intentionally designed to help them express emotions they might not always have words for, while sparking meaningful and sometimes challenging conversations.

Each moment created space for them to open up, feel heard, and build genuine connections with others who understand. 🎣
