Teens in Windham County Need Your Help. Become a Foster Parent with CHR!

Fostering teenagers involves providing a nurturing environment to help them thrive academically and personally, develop essential life skills, and overcome past traumas.

There are thousands of teens who need safe and loving homes right now in Connecticut, particularly in the Windham County region. Contact CHR for information on how to become involved in the Functional Family Therapy-Foster Care program. They provide 24/7 support to guide you through the process.

Bomba Radio Focuses on New Program for Teens!

Thank you to Eileen Echevarria, LPC, Clinical Supervisor for CHR’s new Intensive Outpatient Practice (IOP) for teens, who recently spoke with Bomba Radio to provide important information about the new service. Based in CHR’s East Hartford location, the IOP was launched to meet the needs of teens experiencing anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. The program is three days per week, bilingual care is available, and family involvement is prioritized.
