Continuing education is a must. While my involvement in healthcare is a lot different than what it used to be, I still like to ensure I’m able to help my athletes, family, and clients as much as I can!!

Healthcare, healthy bodies start in the kitchen. If you want your body to perform at maximum ability it needs to be fueled appropriately. Yes, I know easier said than done, but nutrition is a huge factor for all of us, but especially our youth and youth athletes.

I always hear β€œI don’t have time to get to the gym” or β€œI’m too tired at the end of the day”

Yes, finding time for yourself can be so hard, especially for parents, and people with busy careers. I’ve made the same excuses myself.

I started a new routine a couple of weeks ago that works for me. 15-20 minutes every morning I do 5 exercises of 15-20 reps, with or without weights. It’s working for me. I add in laps at the pool when I can because I’m priveledged to be at the pool most nights.
