We are all CONDUITS of something. Our Creator designed us with this purpose in mind. That out of us would flow rivers of living water. Not just any water but LIVING. His LIFE GIVING SPIRIT. He made you in His image.

There is another place from which water flows. In Revelation 22 we see the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb…on each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit yielding its fruit in season.

The Spirit of living water is longing to pour FREELY and FULLY, without reservation through us. Not for us, but for others, to DEMONSTRATE authority and that His Kingdom has come.

In His Kingdom there is no sickness, opression, or death. Jesus came announcing this and healed and delivered demonstrating Sonship and stewardship of Kingdom responsibility given to mankind from the creation of Adam.

As We stay connected to Jesus, abide in Him and from this place of intimacy the fruits of His Spirit (love , joy, peace, patience Gal 5), and the signs ( miracles, deliverance Mark 16) of the Kingdom will FLOW through our lives/vessel.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

You will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16

I will let the scriptures speak for themselves.

As Christ followers we are FILLED with RIVERS of living water/His Spirit to heal nations (Rev 22:2). To open the eyes of the blind and to show to our brothers and sisters who are yet to have a revelation of their postion and place in the Kingdom that God is real and PURE PERFECT LOVE/LIGHT.

We are vessels designed to release HIS KINGDOM wherever we go. To PARTICIPATE in the mission. To make disciples. To invite people into the Kingdom. To live drinking contually from His LIFE GIVING SPIRIT! Hallelujah! 🌊

Our heart is HIS HOME where He is wanting to bring many home to Him through many demonstrations of His POWER. 💥

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18

Out of ABIDING 🌿and staying connected to the VINE (JESUS), we will do the greater works! And its not even us who do them- its Him. We are vessels and all glory goes to Him.

This is the Kingdom that has come and is coming in greater measure! Being His vessel.

Starting August 4th for 6 weeks we will be talking about IDENTITY and how from that place of identity and abiding we are also conduits of His glory and power and as the Kings kids walking in the Kingdom we are called and commissioned to do the GREATER works as a demonstration of His kingdom that has come and is coming in greater measure. They will be known by their fruit! Vessels of gold and silver. ( 2 Timothy 2:20)

Some thoughts and meditations for today….

Renewing our mind according to the PATTERN of HIS KINGDOM and not according to the pattern of this world.

We have the mind of Christ imparted within us salvation, but there is an ONGOING process of uprooting thoughts, worldly mindsets, and patterns of thinking from our sinful nature that is truly dead and PUTTING ON the mind of Christ. This is giving room in our mind, as we surrender our WILL to let the Holy Spirit pattern our mind according to HIS BLUEPRINT. Romans 12 then says we will be able to TEST and APPROVE what God’s will is.

This ongoing work of sanctification is THE POINT. Being renewed in the attitude of our minds. Becoming like Christ is the sanctification of our soul (mind, will, and emotions). What has hindered me at times in my walk with Christ? Mindsets, thought patterns from the old nature, the sinful man in me, the principalities and powers that I have agreed with and given room too, where I have let them set up camp in my mind. Mindsets affect actions. Ever so subtle. What we think about grows. What we think about we become.

This is why scripture reading, prayer, daily repentance, and time with the Lord to let Him point out any fault in our thinking is important if we are to know what His will is and live according to HIS BLUEPRINT. What a humble reality! I can do NOTHING apart from Him. DAILY renew my mind. Seek His face and be willing to repent and change the way I think.

I see why the enemy preys on children. He wants to work on their thinking and find generational patterns of thought that lead them to think according to the patterns of this world so that it stays undetected as they get older. They don’t even realize they are thinking according to the old nature or an earthly mindset because it seems NORMAL. He wants well worn pathways of thought to develop so as to impede the work of the Spirit. Once one’s life is surrendered to Christ, be ready for an all out war! This is nothing to be scared of, but just a knowing that discipleship, immersion in the word, and talking about and knowing what your kids are thinking is critical in those early first years of salvation. Think about your own conversion and times when the enemy attacked/attacks! It's often when we are taking new ground and waking up to our reality in Christ. It's when we realize our soul and body is His and we are ACTIVELY pursing Him.

We must RENEW our minds. For me, it’s an intentional, constant LEANING on God’s word and His Spirit to uproot lies and tear down unhealthy structures of thought. Think pulling out weeds in the ground or tearing down old building infrastructures in a city. Be prepared. Be alert, the devil roams around like a lion looking for someone to devour. He will attack your prayer life. He will bring in distraction, justification of sin, and busyness to keep us from even spending time with the Lord to start this work or do the daily renewing. We must be vigilant right now. There is so much noise. The world system and worldly ways are screaming. There is such an invitation to come up HIGHER and FIX our minds on heavenly, Kingdom life (Col 3).

Just some morning thoughts as I do some gardening of the mind with the Holy Spirit. What lies and patterns of thought would He confront and challenge this morning? The world system is raging- thought patterns are up for grabs. What Kingdom are we going to align our thoughts with today?

**Fascinating fact as I'm studying how memories are stored...Many believe our brains start recording just about everything that happens to us by about 6 to 8 weeks of gestation. This insight has enormous implications for deep soul healing. I believe Holy Spirit has access to the memories we cannot recall, if we given Him permission. I also believe we can ask Jesus to go back with us and make His presence known and bless each memory and month of gestation.

Healthy correction always says, “you have forgotten who you are”. His kindness leads to change. So it should be in our earthly relationships. Holy Spirit stays with us, maintaining relationship, saying “I see who you really are and I’m here with you removing the old dead nature”. So it is with human relationships. Healthy correction says “I’m not abandoning you just because you need some character development. Let me walk with you”. Isn’t this what we try to do as parents? How about in our spiritual communities?

Relationship is maintained and “I’m calling you higher, I see Christ in you in this area, let’s become that together, that’s bring that to the surface in you and not leaving you”. Correction without relationship leads to confusion and a transactional relationship that causes the receiver of the correction to likely internalize a belief that “I’m not deserving of relationship as I mature or grow”.

The underlying value is to build up and admonish someone to return to their true identity. When we experience correction apart from a secure attachment and the perception that we are still wanted and valued, the human tendency is to isolate and withdrawal. The result is that we actually do not step into our true identity leaving us stuck and immature.

I believe safety and security and maintaining unconditional love and acceptance when faced with a character flaw in ourselves or another is glue that protects from condemnation, isolation, and a continued struggle with lack of identity and immaturity.

The Word of God admonishes us to mature and become complete, lacking nothing. All of this is relational. Growth and character formation is developed in community. We are formed in relationships with God and others. No growth or becoming who we are in Christ can happen in isolation.

Our secure attachment to God and others is what builds character and shapes identity.

Knowing and experiencing the delight of God or someone’s loving gaze at you that says, “I’m so glad to be with you”, literally changes our brain chemistry. Receiving the loving gaze of a caregiver builds the other parts of the brain from the brain stem all the way up to the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for analytical and critical thinking, and many other functions. It release oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins.

The rest of God’s commands are based on the first and greatest command. Obedience to all other commands are able to be followed from the grace supplied in love. Love says, I’m happy to be with you.

We love because He loved us first.

A secure love in the soil of our hearts is the primary message of the Gospel and the Kingdom of God. Love, be connected to me, and you will bear much fruit (John 15) . Love others, be securely attached to them also, and the world will know that you are my disciples (Matt 22).

Secure attachments make room for differences, because bonding is based on delight and unconditionally positive regard. Attachment builds the hardwiring in the brain, in the prefrontal cortex, to make room for those who think differently than us.

Differences and diversity bring depth, complexity, and dimensions to a community of believers. They do not diminish the bond of love but have the capacity to enhance, deepen, and strengthen the bond of love.

The story of Jesus being anointed by a “sinful woman” at a Pharisees house in Luke 7 is one which impacts me deeply. Sometimes there is no words because I see myself in this woman. This woman SEES and KNOWS the beauty of Jesus. Her unashamed and lavish love poured out on him at a RELIGIOUS leaders house. Her sin not before her, but the love and mercy of God. Her costly oil poured out.

Some may not understand my radical love for God and why I am so zealous for Him and for His freedom for His children. He has delivered me from so much and continues to confront and seek to restore me. Addiction to alcohol, anorexia, bulimia, anxiety, depression, confusion, shame, condemnation, and loneliness once plagued me. Jesus said, “Therefore I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven- for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little”. Luke 7:47

This is why I share like I do. God is real and delivers. There is a real kingdom of darkness and an enemy that destroys and brings torment and bo***ge. I experienced it.

This is why I want to boast in Jesus, the one who was able to deliver me from the pit. “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of DEEP WATERS. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the days of disaster, BUT the LORD was my SUPPORT. He brought me into a SPACIOUS place; He RESCUED me because He DELIGHTED in me.” Ps 18:16-18

This is why I’m so passionate about this ministry of freedom. This is why I believe in spirt, soul, body healing. He delivered me and He can deliver you too. I sought the Lord and He healed me from all my fears. (Ps 34:4) Fears of vulnerability and honesty about my testimony gripped me for years. Fears of rejection and judgement kept me from sharing the beauty of what Jesus has done in my life. BUT His tender mercy and love has brought such acceptance and freedom that I want to tell my testimony again in hopes that someone understands where I have come from. Most of us have a story behind why we love Him so much!

It’s all Him!! I could not save myself! I gave my life to Christ at a young age and all this warfare followed me AFTER. I had to be delivered from more tormenting spirits, close generational doors, cancel legal rights, heal trauma, and be LOVED by God and others after my salvation experience to truly come into the knowledge of what He has done for me and to step into my true identity in Him.

This is why I give Him all the glory and I believe He is the way, the truth, and the life and the ONLY pathway to freedom. God sent and put many people in my life who walked with me through deliverance, inner healing, and just being with me as a friend. You know who you are!! We can’t do this alone! We need God but we need people to REpresent God and meet us in our mess and say I love you, DESPITE! This is why I’m so passionate about deliverance, inner healing, counseling, and healthy spiritual community.

God is so good! Will He deliver? Yes He will! If you have a struggle with sin or mental illnesses, don’t hide. Cry out to God and find people you can trust to walk you through the fire. He will deliver you. Your testimony will be one that gives Him glory and helps others. I honestly can’t imagine a different life. I’m thankful for my pain because it’s brought me here. A SPACIOUS PLACE where I have found my home in HIM. His love is SO relentless and more powerful than your self-will that if you call on Him to deliver you, He will!

All glory to God. He is a good Father and when you run down that road back home to Him from whatever pig sty you found yourself in- He is right there with open arms and a JOYFUL look on His face. Arms wide open! “For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate”. Luke 15:24

God had family in mind when He made you. When He made us. It’s all about relationships. Jesus came to restore what was lost. Family is His heart. Perfect fellowship with Him and each other. What a blueprint. What a God.

Anytime we have a thought or behavior that doesn’t align with the Word of God, the Spirit of truth, we are giving a legal right to the enemy to come in and build a stronghold. A stronghold is a persistent pattern of thoughts. This stronghold can take root and grow. Just as the truth of God’s word can take root and grow. This doesn’t need to overwhelm us or do we need to get obsessed with tearing down strongholds, but may it make us vigilant, sober, and alert for how the enemy is looking for an opportunity to pin us, to get us to crack, and agree with what He says about us, others, or a situation. We can break the legal right through repentance and agree with God when He reveals the truth. We must steward that truth and feed ourselves. Renew our mind basically. Sometimes further deliverance is needed because of higher ranking demonic kingdoms, but this is a start to taking back ground the enemy has occupied in your mind, will, or emotions (soul realm).

I was recently coming alongside someone where fear had gripped them in a certain area of their life. It had grown tentacles and was taking a deeper hold. This person wanted to get out of cycles making decision based on fear and lack and the scrambling at times to figure things out on their own. Even though this person is a born again believer, loved God deeply, and had encounters with God, fear and self reliance often found a way in, keeping them stuck in a certain area of their life.

During our time together God revealed that the enemy had distorted some things. This person thought fear or anxiety would be a helpful force in taking action. God revealed generational strongholds, disguised as wisdom. They repented, renounced, and came out of agreement with all fear and cut the cord with fear as the motivating force in acquiring wisdom and taking action. The cycle of deception was exposed! The Holy Spirit then revealed Love as the foundation and fear of the Lord being the true source of all wisdom and decision making.

Once this deception of the enemy was exposed, the Holy Spirit deposited His true and perfect love as the root system in this individual’s heart. This person came out of agreement with fear, control, confusion, and the many ways fear had influenced not just them but past generations. The root system was cut off.

Declarations were then made regarding this persons allegiance to God’s perfect love and peace. An exchange was made for God’s perfect love and a holy fear of the Lord to be the foundation from which all decisions of the will and thoughts were originated.

God received the glory as this person received downloads of God’s favor, His miraculous protection, and His genuine desire and ability to provide. It was a glorious time of freedom!

I share this testimony with permission of the individual I was ministering too. His perfect love does cast out fear. His kindness does lead us to repentance and He will show us the way to freedom when we come to Him vulnerable and open to hear what He has to say. ❤️

Living Vine Counseling, LLC has expanded! Living Vine Counseling now houses Journey Home Wellness Center . This growth is stimulated by the need for collaborative care and the understanding that mind, body, soul, and spirit are connected. Journey Home Wellness Center is holistic, client-centered, and carries a vision for addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health of a person with a multi-disciplinary approach. Your needs may vary and will include, but not be limited to, counseling, massage therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and naturopathic medicine.

As a managing member of Living Vine Counseling, my desire is to see you grow into the person your Creator made you to be. Feeling limited or stuck can make you question your God-given abilities and have you doubting whether you are really meant for more.

I believe you’ve come to the right place! Throughout my journey as a therapist, I have watched countless individuals get free. More so, I have watched healing take place more rapidly and more completely when physical, emotional, and spiritual trauma are released through multiple avenues. Just as a house has many rooms, so do we.
