Ahva Care of Winfield, a 138-bed intermediate and skilled nursing care facility, our mission is to offer residents the finest in high-quality and individualized care during their stay with us. Our dedicated healthcare professionals are committed to offering each resident the assistance they require by meeting their clinical and psychological needs and enriching their lives daily with compassion and excellence in service. Our Psychological Rehabilitation programs are designed to recognize the individuality and potential of each resident. The Short-Term Rehabilitation programs at Ahva Care of Winfield combine traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies with the ability to treat the psychological and emotional needs of each individual. The ability to adapt our programs to the individual resident is what sets us apart. Ahva Care of Winfield is located in DuPage County, only 15 miles from Aurora and 1 mile from Central DuPage Hospital. Situated along the banks of the DuPage River, we provide an ideal setting for residents coping with an acute and/or long-term illness or short-term disability.

🌟🍂 At Ahva Care of Winfield, we had a fantastic time in our cooking class! We enjoyed creating delicious pumpkin pie in a bag, a fun and interactive way for everyone to get involved in the holiday spirit.🥧

After our delightful baking session, we crafted a beautiful "Thankful Tree." Each leaf is filled with heartfelt notes of gratitude from our residents, celebrating the many blessings in our lives.

🎉 Honoring Our Veterans! 🎖️

We celebrated our wonderful veterans with a full day of activities here at Ahva Care of Winfield!

We had the pleasure of inviting musical entertainer John Muhlenseld to join us, bringing joy and music to our community. Each veteran received a special gift pack as a token of our appreciation, and everyone enjoyed delicious ice cream and cupcakes.

The Day’s Activities:
- 8:15 am: Hairstyles with Crystal
- 9:30 am: Tai Chi
- 10:00 am: Walkers and Rollers
- 10:30 am: Joke Time
- 11:00 am: Guess the Logo Trivia
- 12:00 pm: Subway Take Out
- 2:00 pm: The Twilight Troubadours
- 3:00 pm: Honoring Our Veterans

🎭✨Administrator, Nora, has once again produced and directed an outstanding play, "Peace of Mind," which took place on November 4th! This wonderful performance was filled with inspiring messages of peace and goodwill towards others, bringing joy to everyone involved.

A huge thank you to Nora's friends, Mattie Greenacre and Cindy Laurent, for their invaluable support in making this event a success!

And let’s not forget the vibrant tie-dye shirts everyone is wearing, designed by John from Social Services. They added a splash of color and creativity to the event!

🎃This Halloween season was nothing short of amazing, and our residents had a blast with our pumpkin painting craft! 🎨✨ We embraced the spirit of the season and got creative with colorful designs.

We even crowned our talented pumpkin painters with first, second, and third place awards! 🏆 Congratulations to all our artists! Your creativity truly brightened our Halloween festivities.
