Ahva Care of Winfield, a 138-bed intermediate and skilled nursing care facility, our mission is to offer residents the finest in high-quality and individualized care during their stay with us. Our dedicated healthcare professionals are committed to offering each resident the assistance they require by meeting their clinical and psychological needs and enriching their lives daily with compassion and excellence in service. Our Psychological Rehabilitation programs are designed to recognize the individuality and potential of each resident. The Short-Term Rehabilitation programs at Ahva Care of Winfield combine traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies with the ability to treat the psychological and emotional needs of each individual. The ability to adapt our programs to the individual resident is what sets us apart. Ahva Care of Winfield is located in DuPage County, only 15 miles from Aurora and 1 mile from Central DuPage Hospital. Situated along the banks of the DuPage River, we provide an ideal setting for residents coping with an acute and/or long-term illness or short-term disability.

We had a paws-itively wonderful time today with some furry friends visiting our residents!

A huge thank you to Donna, our amazing speech therapist, for bringing her adorable dog River! And a shout-out to Yazmin, our activity aide, for sharing her beloved fur baby, Charlie!

Our residents and staff absolutely loved the joy and warmth that these doggy visits brought to our day. 🐕✨

Thanks to the amazing Sandy, a dear friend of one of our residents, we had the incredible Elvis impersonator back to turn up the fun! 🎉✨

🌺🎉 Our recent luau party was a blast, and the hula hoop contest stole the show! 🥳
All of our amazing apartments joined in on the fun, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with laughter and friendly competition.

🌟 A huge shoutout and congratulations to our hula hoop champion, Jay from the rextherapeutics therapy department! 🏆💃 Your skills were truly impressive!

🌺🍹 Aloha from Ahva Care of Winfield! 🍍🌊 We just had an epic Luau Party, on Friday and it was a tropical blast! 🎉🌴

Our residents enjoyed delicious Hawaiian meatballs, refreshing blue tropical drinks, and a variety of sweet treats that made our taste buds dance! 🎶🌺

The vibe was set with lively music, games and everyone embraced the spirit of the islands! 🏝️✨ Even had a hula hoop contest! Check out our next post to see how everyone joined the fun!

👯‍♀️✨ Double the fun at Ahva Care of Winfield! It’s Twin Day Tuesday, and our Therapy Department teamed up with our Nursing Team and residents for some fantastic spirit wear!

Everyone looked amazing in their matching outfits, showing off their camaraderie and team spirit. It’s wonderful to see our staff come together and have fun while providing the best care for our residents.
