🌟 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱, 𝗗𝗡𝗣, 𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗡: Also a primary care provider at the Community Health Center in Cowley County, soon transitioning to the new Arkansas City location.

🩺 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! 🌻
Please join us in welcoming our new nurse practitioner, Katie Darnell, to Sunflower OB/GYN! A Wichita native, Katie recently relocated to Winfield and is excited to join Dr. Miller and the Sunflower team in providing comprehensive and compassionate women's health care to the community.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Fort Hays State University. Katie's experience includes working as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit at Children's Nebraska and the Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum Unit at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital. She's also completed clinical rotations in various specialties, including acute care, chronic care, and rural health.

At Sunflower, she will offer a wide range of services, including well-woman exams, birth control counseling, and care for gynecological conditions. Katie's husband, Justin Onwugbufor, has also joined the care team at Community Health Center in Cowley County, and a joint meet and greet event is being planned in collaboration with the William Newton Healthcare Foundation and the Community Health Center. After three years of service at William Newton Hospital, Dr. Rebekah Ross will be heading off on a new journey. Her last day at Sunflower OB/GYN is Thursday, July 3.
Please join us on Friday, June 20 to say farewell and wish her luck on her next adventure!
