Bravo Zulu House is an all-military sober home focused on housing needs of our veterans.

We are beyond grateful to announce that the Owatonna American Legion Post #77 has presented a phenomenal $10,000 donation to the Bravo Zulu House Women’s House project!

This incredible gift directly supports the development of America’s first all-military sober home dedicated specifically to women Veterans navigating the challenges of co-occurring PTSD and addiction.

Planned for Mankato, MN, this home will be more than just a building—it will be a place of healing, sisterhood, and transformation for women who sacrificed so much for our freedom.

We are incredibly honored to receive a generous $5,000 donation from the American Legion Post 89, presented by Tony O'Donnell!

A massive thank you to Pam Krill for her tireless support and advocacy. This contribution brings us one step closer to opening America’s first sober home for women Veterans battling PTSD and addiction.

The house will be located in Mankato, MN and is planned to open its doors in 2027, providing a sanctuary for brave women who have served our country. We couldn't do this without the incredible support of our community and organizations like the American Legion.

"The military is very close to my heart. I have had family members serve. A lot of my friends have served. My best friend is currently overseas. I have seen their struggles and have been the one answering the phone at 2 am because they need to talk. Showing up at all hours of the night to be their sounding board. I have heard their struggles and want to help others heal. This is a wonderful addition to our community and I only want to see this grow into something bigger to continue to help other veterans."

Our Winnebago home in southern Minnesota is a refuge for Veterans with co-occuring PTSD and addiction. A home where our heroes can find the support and resources needed to rebuild a purposeful life.

We recognize that women Veterans greatly need our support as well. We are continuing our mission by building a trauma-informed home for women with scheduled completion in spring of 2027.

"I didn't know how to navigate the healthcare system. I really just fell through the cracks." Seeking a way out, Ben decided to pursue in-patient treatment at Mayo Clinic Health System. It was there that a nurse, seeing his need for a supportive community, introduced him to Bravo Zulu House.

"Right from the very beginning I knew it was the right place to be. As soon as I walked through the doors of the house, I felt like I was at home. I have a brotherhood. I am so excited to be here." -

Our men’s house in Winnebago MN is so much more than a place that helps our heroes stay sober! We offer life-changing services that provide care for the whole person. These services include physical fitness, career support, spiritual health and access to PTSD, mental health and healthcare services through the Mayo Clinic Health System.

We are excited to announce work has begun on a women’s home with completion slated for spring of 2027.
