UPDATE: We are ready for trick-or-treaters tomorrow! We have lots of goodies for the kiddos and a treat for the adults as well as we are also celebrating our 30th anniversary of caring for our residents! Come join us from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, but due to the chilly weather, we will be hosting the Parade of Spooks in the front lobby of the Manor instead of the garage. See you tomorrow!!!!

Attention ghosts & goblins - After 5 years, Golden Prairie Manor is bringing back the Parade of Spooks! We are beyond excited to be able to welcome back trick-or-treaters this year! Join us on Halloween between 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm for treats galore! To give the residents and our visitors the best possible experience, we are going to be set up in the Golden Prairie Manor garage this year.

Also looking for medication aide / caregiver to work dayside, evening, & weekends. Part-time hours that could potentially turn in to full-time for the right person.

Wow, it has been too long! It has been a very busy summer both personally and at Golden Prairie Manor. We were very, very fortunate last week to not have any major damage with the storm that rolled through Winner. The residents and the facility are all safe and sound, but we are thinking about and praying for those who were affected, especially our neighbors to the south - Tresh Swedlund, The Winner Drive-Inn, and the Tripp County Historical Society.
School is starting in just a few short days! That seems so unreal since summer break just started last week...or so it seems. We are currently looking for part-time dietary aides from 9am - 2pm on weekends. This is a fun & rewarding job and one that would be perfect for those high schoolers looking for some extra $$. We are also looking for part-time caregivers with shifts from 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm. If you are interested, please message me or call 605-842-0508 and talk to me or Lisa. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM EVERYONE AT GOLDEN PRAIRIE MANOR!
Life has been busy for all of us, whether it be at work or at home, but one thing that remains the same for us is providing quality care to our residents and bringing joy to their lives.
This Sunday, December 31, we are going to throw them a (early) New Year's Eve dinner party, complete with non-alcoholic drinks, appetizers, a menu to choose from, desserts, dinner music, and more. The residents will be getting their invitations tomorrow, and I am certain the Manor will be buzzing with excitement!
