Happy Friday! What better way to end the week than pizza and ice cream! We want to give a shout out to Casey's in Winner for making delicious pizza today...the residents and staff enjoyed it! Thank you!! Although we did not have this kind of pizza today, here is a fun fact for you - Hawaiian pizza was actually created in Canada - not Hawaii - and it's been around since 1962.

Today we celebrate Thankful Thursday! There are so many things in life to be thankful! I am thankful that Golden Prairie Manor has amazing residents and employees who genuinely care not only for the residents and their families, but also for each other! UPDATE: We are ready for trick-or-treaters tomorrow! We have lots of goodies for the kiddos and a treat for the adults as well as we are also celebrating our 30th anniversary of caring for our residents! Come join us from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, but due to the chilly weather, we will be hosting the Parade of Spooks in the front lobby of the Manor instead of the garage. See you tomorrow!!!!

Attention ghosts & goblins - After 5 years, Golden Prairie Manor is bringing back the Parade of Spooks! We are beyond excited to be able to welcome back trick-or-treaters this year! Join us on Halloween between 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm for treats galore! To give the residents and our visitors the best possible experience, we are going to be set up in the Golden Prairie Manor garage this year.
